The site MisteriosAntigos.Com followed this campaign since the end of 2004, however, the site had as its first and only theme for 10 years, history on The 7 Ancient Wonders, the site was a great satisfaction to know that there would be a campaign to elect the new 7 wonders of the world. Defensor was MisteriosAntigos.Com Journal of the Campaign in Brazil certified by the New 7 Wonders Foundation.

In 2001, the Swiss Bernard Weber founded the “New 7 Wonders Foundation” and launched a campaign for the democratic choice of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The list of candidates met the most interesting monuments of history of mankind, but unfortunately only 77 monuments in various parts of the world were classified, including the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redemeer) located in Rio de Janeiro, the placement, 59th place, according to the statistics of the time provided by the foundation.

At the end of 2005, would be chosen among the 77 wonders then classified the 21 new wonders, but there was a change and only had the result in 2006. They expect that this large project can be completed, but everything will depend on the Afghan people and especially the new Afghan government’s permission. The estimated cost of this ambitious project will be between 30 and 50 million dollars.
